Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6 ESV).

By: Scott Schuler

Do you struggle with doubt and what God is doing in your life?

I do. And the affects can paralyze me in my tracks with fear or questioning what to do next.

What do we do with this?

We need to believe.

Not just in ourselves and what God is doing in and through us, but believe in these 3 biblical truths:

  1. Our faith in Jesus … Because our faith, in time, will overcome our fear.

  1. Our trust in the Lord … Putting out trust in Jesus trumps our own understanding of life’s circumstances.

  1. Seek first God’s kingdom … seeking God takes our eyes off of us and puts them on Him.

When we hold firm to our faith, put our trust in Jesus and seek Him, our doubt transforms to hope and our mental gymnastics turn to joy.
