I’m hearing lots about identity lately.

People choosing their identity, like selecting a new car, or buying a shirt.

Maybe I am just getting up in years. But isn’t our identity who God created us to be at birth and not something we change because of social media, cultural influencers, or personal choices?

My greatest freedom over the years has come from knowing I am a child of God, and that He loves me.

I no longer care what people think of me or trying to fit in to what the world is telling me is right. I’ve learned that I can just be me when I am true to myself standing before God. Because let’s face it. We will all one day stand before God whether we believe this or not.
